Highlighting practical problems and limitations: Salim
The training course has also made some participants think of the practical implications. Salim commented on this issue very well:
” All ideas and techniques of the British Museum are very good but I cannot implement them in my job because that project needs money and the possiblity of using technologies which we don’t have”
This problem is of course something that most of us are familiar with – even the best ideas can fail with insufficient funding.
I would love to hear the opinions and ideas of other people on the course, How do you get over these issues?
I look forward to everyone’s feedback!
As someone who is passionate about digital heritage, I would like everyone to think if publishing collections online might be one way forwards? What are your opinions on this?
