Bülent Gonultas: impressions of ITP10

I have been working for six years for the Ministry of Culture and Tourism (part of the General Directorate for Cultural Heritage and Museums in Turkey) as a Culture and Tourism Expert in the Department of Museum Services Enforcement and Development. My main expertise is about displays in Turkish museums.  

This program is implemented by specialists who appreciate cultural heritage so we have learned a great amount about museology. Especially the correct way to work in conservation, restoration, the use of technology in the field of museums. I have also been impressed at the level of visitor interest in the British Museum.

Now at the end of our third week, we have also spent time at the newly renovated Ashmolean Museum, the Horniman Museum and the British Library.
