ITP 2011 Diary: Doaa Abdelsattar Kamel Osman

Monday 11 July

Hello everybody,

Now I talk to you from Bristol; it is a smaller city than London, but it has good houses and museums.  I want to tell you about my first day in this city: after Manisha, Meltem, Jana and I arrived to Bristol Temple Mead station, we meet Mr Philip Walker (Public Programme Manager), who was a perfect gentleman. First he took us to the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery to met the staff there, and they were very lovely too, and they invited us to have lunch. After that Mr Philip accompanied us to our accommodation which is like a king’s palace – we thought that we were dreaming!  After 3 hours passed, he invited us to have dinner in the Browns restaurant with the staff of BMAG, it felt like a family dinner.

After we finished, we returned home by walking to make sure we know the way to the BMAG.
