Forthcoming book: Three Chancellors by Nilanjan Banerjee

The Telegraph – Calcutta recently published a review of the forthcoming book Three Chancellors by Nilanjan Banerjee.

Nilanjan participated in the ITP in 2009 as Special Officer and Administrator in charge of Rabindra Bhavana, The Institute of Tagore Studies at the University of Visva-Bharati.

The book, Three Chancellors, set to release on May 8, is about three of Visva-Bharati’s chancellors — former Prime Ministers Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi, and it explores the relationship between the university and the Nehru-Gandhi family.

“Nilanjan Banerjee, who… was born in Santiniketan, studied in Tagore’s school and later at Visva-Bharati gives this serious and well-researched account a warmth and depth of feeling that is touching.”
