Our year in blogging!
Happy New Year to our ITPers!
You may remember that last year the blog was given a new look and lease of life to keep our network talking together and sharing the latest news.
Since then we’ve been keeping a close eye on visitor numbers, views and what our participants love to read about. We’re continuously trying to improve the experience and come up with new things to share, so annual reports are a great way to see what we’ve done well and where we can improve.
Below is a brief summary of our annual WordPress.com report for 2015.
Here’s an excerpt:
The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 17,000 times in 2015. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 6 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
There were 202 pictures uploaded, taking up a total of 342 MB. That’s about 4 pictures per week.
The busiest day of the year was August 6th with 371 views. The most popular post that day was Live Love Lebanon!.
The variation of visitors reflected the global nature of our network – with readers stopping by from 117 different countries!
And a big shout out to our top commenters, the lovely Eileen Musundi, Shambwaditya ‘Shambo’ Ghosh, Saadu Rashid, Gilda Jorge and Abdul Kuddus.
