ITP+ Course, Museum Interpretation: Report and Handy Guide
In October 2018, 12 ITP fellows attended the third ITP+ course, Museum interpretation, held at the Nubia Museum in Aswan, Egypt.
ITP+ courses are short workshops that focus on particular themes, responding to our alumni’s stated interests and development needs and helping to address identified challenges within their home institutions.
Read the report below for more about the Museum interpretation ITP+, including the programme schedule, quotes from fellows and facilitators, photos and evaluation outcomes.

Please also find below a link to a course ‘handy guide’. This toolkit summarises the lessons learnt and shares hints & tips delivered throughout the sessions. The guide covers many aspects of interpretation, including: case studies and activities on interventions, trails, tours and temporary exhibitions; a visitor experience scenario task; panel and label writing tips; and audience surveys and evaluation.
We hope you find it useful!
