2019 Newsletter – out now!

Dear Fellows,

We are pleased to share with you the sixth edition of the ITP newsletter.

The 2019 edition focuses on digital engagement, a topic chosen by our guest editor Andrea Terrón (Guatemala, ITP Fellow 2017 and Senior fellow 2018).  As part of Andrea’s role as Senior Fellow in 2018, she kindly agreed to develop the theme of the newsletter and to act as guest editor for this issue.

Here Andrea tells us more about the inspiration behind her choice of the theme:

‘With museums and other cultural organisations looking to broaden access and make it easier for audiences to engage and interact with their collections, museum accomplish one of many roles: to share and interpret information.’

We want to send our thanks – and congratulations – to Andrea for so brilliantly shaping the newsletter’s content and tackling this very up-to-date issue.  It was a real pleasure to work with her over the last 12 months.

We’d also like to say a very big ‘thank you’ to all our ITP Fellows whose fascinating and insightful contributions made this issue possible. 

As you know, the ITP newsletter aims to exchange ideas and facilitate dialogue between our fellows across the years and the globe. It also provides a great opportunity to gain some insight into our global network’s current professional projects and programmes.
