Hello Again From George, Rejoining the ITP Team (George Peckham, ITP Assistant, 2019)

I would like to take the opportunity to say hello to the ITP global network on my first day as International Training Programme Assistant.

For those of you that followed the ITP blog over the summer, you may have seen that I had the wonderful opportunity to help deliver the ITP summer programme for 2019.

Now I am very happy to say that I will be rejoining the ITP team as the programme’s new assistant!

As you may have seen from a previous blog where I gave a brief introduction about myself, I have worked at the British Museum part-time for a number of years. I have worked as a Steward assisting with the delivery of events hosted within the Museum.

An opportunity arose where I was lucky enough to assist with the ITP’s summer programme for 2019. It was my first taste of the ITP and the great work the programme does.

I got to meet some amazing people over the summer programme and learn about the fascinating work they do. Now I can look forward to meeting even more people over the coming year and begin to help plan for ITP 2020!
