Updates to our WPI Project 2020
We have some important updates regarding our collaboration project with students from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI).
Unfortunately due to current global restrictions caused by the Coronavirus, Kyle, Kevin, Nick and Esteban have not been able to travel to the UK to work with the ITP at the British Museum.
The ITP team and WPI are both hugely disappointed by this development, but we are all determined to carry on and complete our online exhibitions project.
This year we planned for this year’s WPI group to create an online space to showcase the Object in focus projects created by our ITP fellows. This work currently does not have a platform for dissemination. We are hopeful that we can continue to work with WPI remotely to complete this project.
The ITP are grateful to the group at WPI for still wanting to work with us on this online exhibition. We realise that this will not be same experience for them now that they cannot come to London. But we are optimistic that this can still be a fulfilling project with some exciting results!
We will continue to update the ITP network with how the project will work and how it progresses. The group would love to have feedback and input on the project from ITP fellows and colleagues. Kyle, Kevin, Nick and Esteban look forward to still working with the ITP and our colleagues virtually!
Stay tuned for more news about the online exhibition!
