Institute of American Indian Arts

The Institute of American Indian Arts is one of 37 tribal colleges in the United States. Established as a high school in 1962, it is today the only fine arts college in the world dedicated to the study of contemporary Native American and Alaskan Native arts.

The Institute has its own museum, IAIA Museum of Contemporary Native Arts (MoCNA). MoCNA is dedicated solely to advancing the scholarship, discourse, and interpretation of contemporary Native art for all audiences and currently holds around 9500 artworks. (IAIA)
