Abdelrahman Siddig

Biography

Abdelrahman currently works as Curator at Khalifa House Museum.

At the British Museum
During his time on the International Training Programme in 2010, Abdelrahman was based in the Department of Ancient Egypt and Sudan, and his partner placement was spent at Bristol Museums, Galleries and Archives.

In 2010 participants were asked to develop a proposal for a small temporary exhibition – based on British Museum objects – on some aspect of their own cultures. Abdelrahman’s exhibition project proposal, with colleague Ghalia Garelnabi Abdelrahman (Sudan), was entitled The Kushite Period Funeral Practice.
