Sahar El-Sayed

Biography

Sahar is Director of the Textile Museum in Cairo, having previously worked there as a curator of Roman and Islamic Textiles.

At the British Museum
During her time on the International Training Programme in 2007, Sahar was based in the Department of Egypt & Sudan and her partner placement was spent at Glasgow Museums.

Sahar’s place on the International Training Programme was generously supported by the Barakat Trust.
