Abdul-Nasir Amin

Biography

Since 2013 Abdul-Nasir has been the Director of the Republican Palace Museum in Khartoum, Sudan, having been working as a curator at the museum previously. Before joining the Republic Palace Museum Abdul-Nasir was a Tourism Inspector for the Gezira State from 1998 – 2001.

At the British Museum
During his time on the International Training Programme in 2007, Abdul-Nasir was based in the Department of Egypt & Sudan and his partner placement was spent at Tyne and Wear Archives and Museums, Newcastle.

Legacy Projects
In March 2010 Abdul-Nasir attended the Cairo Conference Towards a global network where he presented a paper on what he had gained, both professionally and personally, from attending the ITP and his career development since the programme.
